About

Every man has his own destiny: the only imperative is to follow it, to accept it, no matter where it leads him

– Henry Miller

Most of my work as an actor has been in independent films. I have appeared in 20 short and 2 feature length films, The Arriviste and Dead Eye, in which I had the starring and lead roles.

I went to the TISCH School of the Arts for acting in 1991 and attended the Circle in the Square theatre wing. There I studies the Meisner technique for acting under Lauri Peters, a protégé of Sanford Meisner. From there I joined her theatre company, The Company Theatre and performed in “The Miracle Worker” and “Rumors” at Circle in the Square Theatre on 50th Street.

During down time and between roles I continued to practice and became proficient at playing the guitar, piano, harmonica, percussion, and wrote 50 songs which I recorded at home. I also took up drawing and painting which came in handy for my role as Ray, a struggling graphic artist, in Dead Eye. My desire is to continue to learning and perfecting these abilities, art, music, writing, and acting, and to share what I have learned with others either through performance or teaching.

The Arts have not only enriched my life beyond what I had imagined as a child but have saved my life on many occasions giving purpose and fueling desire, passion for life. I live and breath my passion for creating.
